About Marnie

Marnie has a Masters degree in Art History from the University of Cincinnati (UC) with a graduate certificate in Museum Studies. At UC, she worked as an Assistant Curator at DAAP galleries, assisting to open a new gallery featuring the university’s permanent collection.

She joined the Alutiiq Museum’s staff in 2005 as registrar, leading a massive collections reorganization and documentation project. Marnie continues to oversee the daily care and administration of the museum’s extensive holdings, as well as managing multiple grant-funded collections projects.
